Makeup!!!

If you know me, then you know I LOVE makeup. I use to not be so into it, but over the past year, I started experimenting with all sorts of brands, colors, shades, etc. As I experimented more and more, I realized not all were the same. I don't consider myself high maintenance, but the more I became fascinated with makeup, the more expensive my taste got and I don't like to settle for anything less. My recent brand purchases were Almay and Physicians Formula. I purchased an Almay concealer which was only about $8, but that's a jump from my last concealer that was $1 (Wet-N-Wild). As for Physicians Formula, I purchased the pressed powder and a blush (about $12 each), pencil eye liner that cost about $10 and a finishing mineral powder that costs about $14.

Another habit of mine is reading reviews on products before purchasing. I originally went for Almay products, but the selection was quite scarce so I skimmed the isles some more. I came across the Physicians Formula section and I remember my now former roommate saying how good it is. I thought "for it being this much at a drugstore, it better be good!", so I purchased it. I've got to say, it's been the best makeup I've used from Walmart or any other type of department store, especially if you're going for a more natural look (which I'm trying to do...I've got to get use to seeing myself with little to no makeup on and I usually wear lots of eye shadows...I love smokey eyes.) It's light and it doesn't make you look like you're trying to wear too much. The Almay concealer is also very light and smooth. I was quite impressed with how it felt. And the eyeliner....best pencil eyeliner I've ever used! It does not smudge and it stays on all day. I have never loved pencil eyeliners, but this one works!

I would highly recommend the Physicians Formula makeup brand. Some may think it's a bit pricier than the other department store brands, but I promise it's worth it. Some stores are selling the pressed powder, the blush, and finishing veil in a special set for $20 which is actually a bargain, so you might want to get one of those before they run out, because if you pay for them individually, you may end up spending double the amount. My taste for fashion and cosmetics may be going up, but that doesn't mean I can't find a good deal!

My first video blog

This is my first vlog. I was really bored when I made it so it probably doesn't make sense and may seem a bit random. If you know me, then you know I tend to be random.
